Further, human milk is also preferred as the enteral diet for preterm infants that provides the required amount of nutrients, and bioactive factors which altogether support an infant’s neuro and physical development (Ong & Belfort, 2021).Main Point 2: Lowers morbidity as well as mortalityProper feeding in the first three years of a child’s life is highly important as it plays the most crucial role in lowering morbidity as well as mortality. This is because feeding an infant properly in his/her first three years reduces the risk of getting affected with non-curable chronic diseases throughout life (WHO, 2022). Correct infant nutrition promotes a child’s regular physical and mental development and thus, lowers the chances of mental health issues and the rate of child mortality.Main Point 3: Donkey milk in infant nutritionDonkey milk plays a significant role in infant nutrition in ancient times.
